to grow the fresh, healthier dinner alternatives on university, MIT Dining recently rolled down a pilot of 6am Health’s new Fridge vending machines inside fifth flooring lounge of the Stratton Student Center (Building W20) plus the vending-machine location during the first-floor intersection of structures 16 and 26.
“Fresh Fridge’s delicious meals are loaded in reusable containers, which will be ideal for students while on the move who desire one thing they are able to throw-in their backpacks but is more healthful than a granola club or immediate ramen,” says Mark Hayes, MIT Dining manager. Options feature quinoa bowls, salads, instantly oats, sandwiches, and fresh drinks.
The machines accept bank cards and phone-based contactless payment methods, but different ways to pay come in the works. Fresh Fridges are one other way MIT Dining is attempting to add price and choice to eating options at MIT.
